today i had a lesson with jenny trainor, shared with a friend of mine, kelly robinson kelly.
it was a wonderful lesson and brought up lots of interesting things for me to “lick and chew” over…
and sent me home to do some research of my own.
i found several very interesting articles that linda parelli has written over the years.
two things that really jumped out at me after our lesson today were:
* don’t get frustrated- respect myself as a student.
everything is a learning experience.
* every “problem” usually leads to an amazing breakthrough.
be fascinated by the process rather than defeated by it.
(LOVE that last one!!)

Mindy,
I have a mare named Sweet Heart. After her foal is weaned, I would like to have her broke to saddle. Would you consider doing this? I believe that you have the skill and the patience to do this.
Penny
hi penny!
i wish i could help you with Sweet Heart. i really liked her when we visited your farm. but i am not set up to take in outside horses for training. i tried to find a Parelli Professional (people that have actually gone through the Parelli University…) in Idaho, but didn’t find one! there are several in Washington and a few here in Montana and i would recommend any one of them! good luck!
The picture of Billy is fabulous! What a great shot of him. Love his curly ears.
thanks aunt deena! he is a cutie patootie when he gets all curly
just like a teddy bear!
